The Second day in Rome was the longest! We woke up earlier, as a friend of ours came to see us! BIG THANKS NATASHA , it was really nice of you!
We chose a nice period to travel, as everything in the night was so ... wintery, and at the same time it was pretty warm outside. There were decorations all over the city, beautiful ones, and a lot of people shopping, and a lot of tourists taking photographs!
To see what I mean, watch the first 2 photos :)
Below you can see a half of the PIAZZA DELLA REPUBBLICA
This is the Traian Colomn ( Colonna Traiana) and you can see a piece of a Monument , Il MONUMENTO A VITTORIO EMANUELE II (the whole building is a monument, we have entered inside)
This is the view from the church SANTA MARIA in ARACOELI
This is our friend, DAN! WE LOVED travelling with you, I hope you also did! We spent 3 amazing days together, we had a lot of fun, and a lot of PAIN in our LEGS!!! :)
My extraordinary Boy in front of the COLOSSEO
Me - making photos
I guess this is one of my favorite pics!! ME - COLOSSEO - and the Christmas TREE!!!
Mhmmm... a kiss INSIDE the COLISEUM, 12 euros the entrance to this historical place!!)
ARCO DI CONSTANTINO
And this is what was happening every day at 5p.m. I hated it, as at this time the monuments, the parks , the everything got closed, and we had to think more serious were to go and what to visit. This day we had the best idea, to ask for a commercial center, and we visited the biggest one in Rome, and we ate the BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!!
By the way, this photo was taken at the CIRCO MASSIMO , and in front you can see S. MARIA IN COSMEDIN.
This is the view from the PONTE FABRICIO, of the ISOLA, it is like an island in the middle of the river.
Great photos!!
